O fen\u00f4meno deixou um rastro de destrui\u00e7\u00e3o e colocou o munic\u00edpio em estado de calamidade p\u00fablica, decretado neste s\u00e1bado (8) pelo governador Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior (Decreto n\u00ba 11.838\/2025). A medida permite a\u00e7\u00f5es emergenciais e o envio imediato de recursos para o atendimento \u00e0s fam\u00edlias e a reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o da cidade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Antes da trag\u00e9dia, Rio Bonito do Igua\u00e7u era um dos destinos mais procurados do estado para o turismo de pesca e atividades ao ar livre. Em abril, sediou o tradicional Campeonato Santiago de Pesca Esportiva, evento que atrai competidores de v\u00e1rias regi\u00f5es do pa\u00eds. A cidade integra a rota tur\u00edstica <\/span><span class=\"s2\">Vales do Igua\u00e7u<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> e se destaca por oferecer trilhas ecol\u00f3gicas, cachoeiras, fontes de \u00e1guas termais e pr\u00e1ticas de esportes radicais como rapel, rafting, arvorismo e escaladas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">O cen\u00e1rio natural \u00e9 marcado pelo Canyon do antigo leito do Rio Igua\u00e7u, pelas grandes quedas d\u2019\u00e1gua e pela represa da Usina Hidrel\u00e9trica de Salto Santiago, cart\u00e3o-postal da regi\u00e3o. Entre \u00e1guas calmas e vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o exuberante, o munic\u00edpio sempre foi um ref\u00fagio para quem busca contato direto com a natureza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Agora, o desafio \u00e9 reconstruir a cidade, que teve cerca de 90% da infraestrutura urbana e rural destru\u00edda. Casas foram arrasadas, ve\u00edculos ficaram inutilizados e boa parte da popula\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 sem energia el\u00e9trica.
