O artista pl\u00e1stico Vik Muniz, reconhecido internacionalmente por transformar materiais como lixo, restos de demoli\u00e7\u00e3o, chocolate e at\u00e9 molho de tomate em obras de arte, chega ao Recife com sua maior exposi\u00e7\u00e3o j\u00e1 realizada.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chamada A Olho Nu, a mostra fica em cartaz at\u00e9 31 de agosto, no Instituto Ricardo Brennand. O museu funciona de ter\u00e7a a domingo, das 10h \u00e0s 17h (\u00faltima entrada \u00e0s 16h30).<\/span><\/p>\n

Ao todo, s\u00e3o mais de 200 trabalhos que percorrem a trajet\u00f3ria do artista desde os anos 1980 at\u00e9 os dias atuais. Entre as obras est\u00e3o pe\u00e7as ic\u00f4nicas, como Duas Vezes Mona Lisa, de 1999, feita com manteiga de amendoim e geleia, e Medusa Marinara, de 1997, criada a partir de um prato de macarr\u00e3o com molho. A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o ocupa a Galeria Lourdes Brennand, que tem quase mil metros quadrados de \u00e1rea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vik Muniz utiliza materiais do cotidiano para recriar paisagens, retratos e imagens famosas da hist\u00f3ria da arte e da cultura visual, propondo reflex\u00f5es sobre consumo, descarte e novos significados para aquilo que muitas vezes \u00e9 visto como banal.<\/span><\/p>\n
